We are The Sovereign Imperial and Royal House of Ghassan, a certified international nonprofit organization accredited by the United Nations with the Special Consultative Status since 2016 and officially recognized by the Lebanese Government by Presidential decree number 5,800/2019. Based in Los Angeles, CA, USA, it has tax-deductible status recognized by the IRS under the Internal Revenue Code 26 U.S.C. § 501(c) and it's also active in Canada, Brazil, Germany, Lebanon, Spain, Italy, China, UAE, and Jordan.
The Royal House of Ghassan is the dynastic, historical, legal and cultural representative of the Royal Ghassanids and the Ghassanid people (in Arabic "Banu Ghassan" or "Al-Ghassassinah").
It comprises and represents all the dynasties ruled by Ghassanid Christian sovereigns from 220 CE until 1747 CE. The Muslim branch of the family ruled until 1921 CE the Principality of Jabal Shammar (Chemor) or Hail in today's Saudi Arabia.

Since no longer ruling, the House presently is an international, non-profit, apolitical, secular, cultural/educational and charitable "umbrella organization" responsible for several affiliated organizations, fraternities and initiatives with the specific purposes of: the promotion of the historical and Cultural Arab heritage, especially but not limited to the Ghassanid people, the notorious Ghassanid's ideals such as the broad cultural incentive, women's equality, democracy, the promotion of charity, and the chivalric ideals.
Also, the promotion and application of the principles of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948 at Palais de Chaillot, Paris.

The Ghassanids are the legitimate heirs of one the oldest - if not "the oldest" - Christian knights in history. It's documented that the Ghassanids were the first knights protectors of the Holy Land under the Byzantine Empire around 500 years before the First Crusade and the creation of the first Orders of Chivalry. Although not organized in Orders "per se", the Ghassanids were the first defenders of Christianity in history to incorporate what's known today as a "code of chivalry" (originated from the Arab concept of "Muru’a") which means bravery in war, hospitality, respect for women and for honor, and protection of the weak and the orphans.
The Royal House of Ghassan rewards worthy individuals for their service to the House and its humanitarian projects, for services rendered to society in general, and for outstanding life achievements.
The honors bestowed follow the monarchical traditions and may be honorary titles of nobility, orders of chivalry, orders of merit, awards, etc.
Recognition
The Royal Family of Ghassan, the Sheikhs El Chemor, have outstanding 812 years of uninterrupted, irrefutable, and documented official recognition.
The Sovereign House and its head are internationally recognized (academically and legally) as an authentic "Fons Honorum" (meaning in Latin "fountain of honors", legal status required according to international law to create and bestow honors)

The Chancellery of the Sovereign Imperial and Royal House of Ghassan is an agency of the government of the organization comprised of the Grand Chancellor as the Chief Administrative Officer, head of the internal executive branch. The Grand Chancellor serves as an appointed executive of the Royal House and Orders by the Head of the House and Name. The Grand Chancellor assists the Grand Master as an ad-hoc secretary of state, managing the Chancellery of all foreign affairs and diplomatic missions of the House and Orders, and representing the Royal House and HIRH to all official or strategic third parties. The Grand Chancellor also organizes and mobilizes various offices and agencies of the Chancellery, according to the directives of the Head of House and Name.
